Fresh from our recent exploits on the Tour Auto, the next adventure for the EFG International Crew is on the Tour Britannia. This fabulous event, which is often surprisingly light on entries, is simply one of the highlights of the UK racing calendar and is supported by EFG and Bonhams.

Tour Auto 2013

Grand PaliasRegular readers will recall the adventures of the EFG International crew on last year’s Tour Auto: our chosen chariot was (as seems to be an ongoing theme here) not ready for the event, so a road-going 1952 Aston Martin DB2 was pressed into service instead despite us being in the Competition section: which means we are flat out through the stages and the races.

Historic Monte Carlo Rally 2013

The first event of 2013 for us at Speed Scotland will once again be the Historic Monte Carlo rally: Regular readers may be a little surprised because if you read our adventures on this event last year HERE, then you’ll note I was firmly of the opinion that I wasn’t ever going to do it again!

Rick Pearson on the Tour Britannia 2012

Although it feels like just a couple of weeks since the Tour Auto, the Tour Britannia is an event I would very much hate to miss. Like the Tour Auto, it roams around the country, taking in circuit racing and rally stages. The Trusty Turbo has been comprehensively rebuilt after the pounding she took on the Historic Monte Carlo Rally in January and is ready to go. You can find all posts from Rick in the Media Gallery.
